Data analytics service, CoinMarketCap, has recently announced its first ever Android App on the market. The announcement also saw the release of a new version of their already released app for iOS devices.
The Innovative Features
The application comes in with exclusive features not available on the website which includes candlestick charts for assets and stocks, option to track and compare different cryptocurrencies, tracking of crypto portfolios, daily available historical open-high-low-close chart data and the option for setting price alerts on all cryptocurrencies available on CoinMarketCap.
The features are strictly available only to member users. Users can easily download the application and make a CoinMarketCap account to access the member exclusive features. A registered user would gain easy access to their pre-saved portfolio and watch lists without ever worrying about them getting deleted.
The application also has a news reader which would allow members to check up on daily crypto news making headlines from various news outlets.
CoinMarketCap’s Other Ventures to Render Crypto Tracking Effortless
Last year CoinMarketCap came in the news with the release of API targeted for developers to aid in tracking the crypto market and its regulations. The company also announced the release of two new crypto benchmark indices on the Nasdaq Global Index Data Service, Bloomberg Terminal, Thomson Reuters Eikon and Börse Stuttgart in March of this year.
CoinMarketCap launched its first mobile-based application on the iOS market in May 2018 as a celebration of the company’s fifth anniversary. The website has faced some serious escalation in a year dropping down from the 175th ranking in the world for highly trafficked sites to its current ranking of 482nd. CoinMarketCap has also launched crypto asset letter grades for Flipside, a blockchain data analytics company. A metric system created by the company called the Fundamental Crypto Asset Score (FCAS) takes into learning several important factors around data transaction.
